MATTHEW WEST, CISM MRAeS

Hawk AeroSafety was founded by Matthew West, an experienced aviation safety professional who has served in senior aviation safety positions for two of the country's leading Part 135 organizations, in the air medical and tourism fields.

A Certified International Safety Manager (CISM), Matthew was proud to have served his community as a law enforcement helicopter pilot, also having working as a commercial helicopter pilot and flight instructor.

He has held senior roles and is knowledgeable in the following aviation fields:

Aviation safety and risk management
Law enforcement aviation operations
Air medical transport services
Uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS)

Matthew is an FAA Safety Team representative and DronePro. He also serves as President of the Association of Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Rocky Mountain Chapter

Ryan's areas of aviation expertise are focused in flight and safety data analysis, while his extensive experience in uncrewed aircraft operations serves to assist our clients' growing UAS operations.

Ryan's UAS and data handling experience has grown from his work in Part 135 and Part 107 organizations, conducting aerial survey and infrastructure inspections and data analysis roles. Ryan is also an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University graduate.
